Backyard Wedding in Ontario – Libby & Trevor

Words can not describe the beauty of having a backyard wedding at your family’s 50 acre property. The barn that Libby & Trevor’s parents had styled and put together to help create their daughter’s wedding dreams come true, was just unremarkable. The sunset on their hilltop created the most magical views and definitely the perfect wedding location.

Libby & Trevor were so much fun and I knew the instant that we had met, that we would instantly become friends. Libby knew that it wasn’t going to be a typical backyard wedding as they definitely pulled out all the stops. Trevor was the sweetest and well let’s say we bonded well with our funny sense of humor and well sometimes dirty minds.

What did you love about your wedding location(s)/venue(s)?
We got married on my parents 50 acre property which held sentimental value for the both of us. We loved the face that we could create an intimate wedding venue and have multiple different photo opportunities utilizing the fields, forests and gardens on the property.

What memory from your wedding do you remember the most strongly? What part of the day had the most effect on you or your relationship?
Best part of our wedding was seeing the people closest to us having fun and enjoying living in the moment! Brought us closer together knowing our families have blended together perfectly!

Funniest moment on your wedding day? Tell me all about it!
The funniest moment about or wedding day would have to be the groomsmen and my dad having a blast on the dance floor dancing to Heave Away by Fables. What started out at 5 guys ended up being most of the people attending the wedding 🙂

Where did you go on your honeymoon? Why did you choose it?
We will be going on our honeymoon for our 1 year anniversary next year to the US Virgin Islands to explore and island hop!

What advice would you give to future couples who are getting married?
Invest in an awesome photographer who knows how to capture your big day! You won’t regret looking back on the photos from the best day of your life and reminiscing on all the fun that was had. We might be biased, but nobody can beat Heather Hugo and her amazing eye for capturing amazing photos 🙂
